What's the question? I live in America, where over 1000 different religions are practiced. Please, someone, provide me some proof beyond a book written by man that jesus is the answer. Oh, and faith in religion is immaterial; it lacks proof; just merely conjecture.

And, as the great Zoril demonstrates, there is NO proof of religion. Just a bunch of hype laid at the feet of "jesus". Only a madman believes in what he cannot see, taste, hear, feel, or smell. Thanks Zoril. You've proved my point.

Oh, dear Light, are you so wise as to know what the ancients had in mind when they built the pyramids? Of course not. You're just another sucker.

Oh, and Missy Mouse, a lot of people believed in what Hitler was doing, but does that make it right?
Of course not. You need to wake up and realize that followers don't make an idea true.

And of course, as I suspected, there's NOT one shred of proof beyond the bible that will satisfy science, or an inquiring mind. People are too easily led; this is proven by GWB being president. A bunch of fools at best represent "America" at the polls.

To begin with:
All scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work . (2 Timothy 3:16,17)
The word "inspired" (theopneustos) in the original Greek language literally means "God-breathed".
Evolution is called a scientific theory for a reason. Its a theory. Not fact.
If you are honestly willling to follow up on this, and not just blow it off, take a look at the info I give you and research it. I am completely open to hearing your argument with an open mind.
The Bible contain statements that are consistent with PALENTOLOGY (Job 40:15 all through the 1st half of chapter 41. The names used are behemoth and tanniyn, which is used 28 times in the Bible and in Hebrew is normally translated “dragon.” It is also translated “serpent,” “sea monster,” “dinosaur,” “great creature,” and “reptile.”); ASTRONOMY (Genesis 22:17, Jeremiah 33:22. The Bible even describes the suspension of earth in space, how would they know that? Job 26:7. It even speaks of the earth being round. Isaiah 40:22); BIOLOGY (Leviticus 17:11 speak of the importance of blood in the body, in Genesis1:11-12, it speaks of biogenesis-- the development of living organisms from other living organisms--); HYDROLOGY (Job 26:27-29 speak specifically about the hydrologic cycle, and describes the recirculation of water in Eccelesiates 1:7 and Isaiah 55:10, and even speaks of the condensation in the clouds in Job 26:8 and Jon 37:11.); the bible even has an explaination for 'CAVEMEN' in Job 30: 5-6. Note that these were not ape-men, but descendants of those who scattered from Babel. They were driven from the community by those tribes who competed successfully for the more desirable regions of the earth. They deteriorated mentally, physically, and spiritually from being alone in these caves and such. (Go into a bad part of your town and you will see this concept in action today. Ever seen a unstable, jittery, Neanderthal-like homeless guy?) This is actual historical fact that can be thoroughly researched outside of the Bible, in secular history text, such as The Antiquities of the Jews and The Annals (both of which, speak of Jesus in the historical sense, citing his different works in different places and witnesses.)
The validity of the Bible is the scientific proof. If you calculate the probability of the prophesies of the Bible being fulfilled by chance, you get something less than ten to the minus 157. It is impossible to account for the accuracy of Bible prophecy except that it is the inspired word of God who knows everything. If the Bible were the product of human knowledge, it would not have that kind of prophetic accuracy.
If a fair maiden kisses a frog which instantly changes into a handsome prince, we would call it a fairy tale. But if the change takes 40 million years, we call it evolution. We often hear that science has proved evolution. This is not so. When it is PROVEN it will no longer no be a theory. You see, people often confuse scientific fact with scientific theory. Current scientific theory does conflict with creation. But the facts of science do not! There are many scientists who fully accept Biblical creation.
The theory of evolution says that over millions of years simple life forms (one celled creatures) slowly evolved into complex life forms (fish), and that one kind of animal evolved into another kind (ape to man). But if the Bible is wrong and man actually did evolve in small graduations over a long period of time, we should find ample fossil evidence of links in intermediate stages of transition. For decades, evolutionists have searched for fossils of these links to prove biblical creation wrong. Although millions of fossils have been unearthed, not even one missing link has ever been found. Has it ever occurred to you that this is the reason why scientists refer to them as missing links?
Even Charles Darwin realized the difficulty missing links gave his theory. Darwin wrote in his book, Origin Of The Species, "Why, if species have descended from other species by fine graduation, do we not everywhere see innumerable transitional forms? Why is not all nature in confusion, instead of the species being, as we see them, well defined?" The reason we have never found any missing links is quite simple. They aren't there to be found.
I have plenty more info to give if needed.
BTW, I love ur id name... i loved the movie Tombstone... Val kilmer was genius.

You are playing a dangerous game, but the danger is to yourself. So if you wish to continue, feel free to do so. Mockery may serve well to win a juvenile session of one-up-manship, but if you really seek to understand the responses given you would best be served by at least reigning in the sarcasm and half witty come backs.
The proof of Christ is in the Christian. His time on earth gave multitudes of people the opportunity to learn. Some ended up killing him. Still others found his witness to be so compelling that they suffered great atrocities and death for holding their faith unwaveringly. These people had no opportunity to be educated by "brain washing ministers" or " home educating zealot parents" as so many others here have asserted. When you invent a device to measure the love your own parents have given you then maybe I will examine the readings and determine for myself the extent of that love. Until then I have to rely upon your own words and actions as evidence. There is no device to measure such a thing. How, then, do you propose enough evidence be presented to you to demonstrate the truth of God's love while disregarding His words? You hold Him to a different standard?
It will have to be sufficient for you to know that faith is developed by hearing, and the best place to hear is from the word of God.
Relating to others how knowing God has worked wonders in my own life is usually repaid with laughter, derision, or scorn. None of that changes the basic facts I know to be applicable to my experiences with Him.
Scientific evidences belong in the physical world. If you seek scientific proof none will be given. Does emotion prove a matter of science? Can you sympathize your way through a math test? How about applying love to the repair of a broken computer? All things belong in their proper place for any meaningful dialog or problem resolution.
Talk about a crazy, mixed up world.
The same holds true for those who try to prove or disprove a matter of science from a Biblical perspective. It can not be done. Christians have been called to be separate from the world. Their concerns regard the more weighty matters of life that many write off as foolish. It is the spirit which is eternal and it is the spirit which the Bible addresses.
Heaven help anyone who questions a scientific theory if he has been identified as Christian. The irony of the whole thing is that when science has exhausted all avenues in the attempt to understand the workings of the universe it will be known beyond any doubt that God truly is.

Col 1:15 does not say Jesus was the first of all God's creations. It says, "the firstborn over all creation." You think it means the first of God's creations, but that's not what it says. It says firstborn. It is a title. King David was the youngest in the family (1 Samuel 16:11). God called him a firstborn also. (Psalm 89:20 & 27). Firstborns have inheritance rights. Firstborns are set apart for God. Stuff like that. Also, Col 1:16 says Jesus created all things. I thought God created all things. Col 1:17 says Jesus was before all things. I thought God was before all things. Col 1:19 says ALL of God's fullness is in Him. So, if Jesus was not God, how could he be before Abraham? I know for a fact that I wasn't. Notice how the Jews considered Jesus' statement to mean he was claiming to be God? I did.

Lee Strobel wrote a book called " The Case for Christ". He was a journalist and set out to disprove the Bible and Jesus after his wife was converted. He went above and beyond with lots of facts and information. He ended up being converted in the process.
Some food for thought: Why would Jesus make the claim that He was the only way to God? No other religion makes that claim. He was either crazy or He was actually telling the truth. Muhamad and Buddha are still in there graves. Where is Jesus if He wasn't resurrected?
There is no other religion where their God gave himself up for his creation. Christianity is the only one.
Christianity stresses loosing your "self-life" and serving others based on the message of love and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Instead of being self-centered we're to be Christ-centered. What other religion is based on the same principals and motives?
Faith can be proven, not by holding it in our hands but by the evidence, outcome and ultimate manifestation of that faith.
I hope and pray you find what you're seeking after.

I know that Jesus is real because I have seen him. Once when I was being filled with the spirit and another time while in the spirit in the throne room of God in heaven and I sat at his right hand. I have learned through a great many hard knocks that God lives inside believers and not in buildings made with hands. Once you get that it helps so you don't think about buildings with all their religions. All those different religions just put walls up between believers. Plus Gods people are lead astray by preachers who are just wanting money and care very little about the people.

The only proof is personal experience. Those proofs do not suffice for others and/or especially those who refuse to believe. The reason is stated in Hebrews 11:6

How about hundreds of predictions that were written hundreds of years before the event that actually came to be as described. The Bible has been tested time and time and always reveals the truth, never once has it been wrong.
Check out Lee Stobels web site, He was an atheist lawyer/journalist whom set out to disprove the Bible, which lead to him realizing the truths in the Bible.
Yes it was men the physically wrote the book, but it was God whom used them like a pen.

Look into the pyramids and the words of Unas and father Atum. Read the pyramid texts of Nu, who prophesized of Jesus 2600 year before he was born. When you can look upon what was built and ANSWER how his faithful erected MILLIONS of stones one upon another with his faith many call myth, at a time the wheel was not known and "mathematics" is said to have not existed, you will have the answer to your heart to break through your delusion and denial.................
