The other medical thing called MR has nothing to do with radiology whatsoever. It is a commonly used acronym for Mitral Regurgitation.

MRI (or NMR for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) is the only MR that involves T1 and T2 weighted images.

Of course MRI can be used to image a number of body parts and this gives rise to a number of other acronyms eg. MRA (magnetic resonance angiography)

If you want to learn about T1 and T2 weighted images, read the page in the wikipedia for starters and then start doing some searches about it.

That is what I hate about this yahoo answers stuff. People come on here and ask what they shourld write their term papers about. People like you should try doing some resaerch for youselves. Honestly...if you never do any of your won research, then how do expect to master that knowledge... DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!!!! It really is not that hard.....there are millions of medical sites that can help you. Your best bet is probably to go to wikipedia.com......You see how nice I am-I have already got you started!

Now do youself a favor and look it up yourself. I dont think you have the capability to be in the class that you are taking if you cant even do research yourself. Maybe you should switch feilds or something.....

Also it really helps if you DONT leave a paper untill 3 days befor it is due.... good luck to you-I have my weekend free because I did not waste my time doing what your doing
