um... since when does Christianity condemn it- sex is a gift from God, meant for reproduction AND pleasure and intimacy between a husband and wife. As with anything in life , there are guidelines, instruction , when it comes to sex , that it would be wise to follow- to avoid uneccessary emotional burdens, to avoid physical problems- to avoid unhealthy ties to those you will not be "tied to"
It has become a rare but still sacred and special thing for couples to save the only thing they can keep sacred for the person they are going to commit themselves to for the rest of their life!
It is not condemnation, it is instruction from the one who created us and knows what is best for us and who has given us this precious gift in the first place. The condemnation comes from within when one chooses to abuse the gift and make it no longer sacred and intimate between two people who have made the vow to lay down their lives for each other .

Catholic Christianity does not condemn sex, as long as it's the *right kind* of sex. Mutual sexual pleasure is more than acceptable in Catholicism, as long as the partners are a man and a woman married to each other and not using artificial birth control (the Pill, condoms, etc.: regulating births by natural family planning is encouraged).

However, sexual pleasure for its own sake -- not used for procreation and/or strengthening the relationship between a husband and wife -- is the sin of lust. Consensual sex between an unmarried man and an unmarried woman is the sin of fornication. There are many worse sins than sexual sins, but sins they are nevertheless.

In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful

Islam does not condemn sex.Allah the almighty Tells us in the
Holy Quran that one of his signs is that he has created male
and Female and put between them affection and Love.

Islam Condemns and Prohibits Sex outside marriage. It encourages Its followers To get married as soon as they are
of marriageable age and can afford to do so.Except For Anal
sex Islam and at the Time when a woman is in her monthly
cycle all other Times Islam encourages the Married couple
To enjoy sex as Much as Possible and to take Pleasure in
it and and reproduce by the will Of Allah the almighty.

Infact Islam is the only religion who Tells its Followers That
you will be Rewarded For having legal Sex [That is sex by a
Husband and wife }.Sex is a gift From God almighty and also
a reality to be enjoyed in the proper way.

Sexual intimacy was created by God, and is therefore good, for marriage and serves 2 purposes:
1)unitive-by sharing their bodies (and not holding anything back including fertility) the married couple expresses their love for each other by giving themselves completely to the other person thus strengthening their bond and
2)procreative-just as the Father's love for the Son and the Son's love for the Father is expressed in the third person-the Holy Spirit-a married couple mirrors God in loving each other so much that their love "creates" a third person and thus the "one-ness" of the couple becomes "three" distinct persons just as the Trinity is three Persons in one God.
Sex is not "bad", however everything created by God has a purpose and when something meant for one thing is used for something else it has dire consequences, wouldn't you agree.
Sex is great, but just like the "apple" that was good, God said "no" you cannot have that and the bad thing was the disobedience not the apple itself. It is not for us to question him with ,"Why?" we need only obey, He knows what He's doing and why.

The problem is not with sex as it is a necessity for procreation. The problem is also not with the physical pleasure that we get from it during our indulgence in it. The problem is with lust which keeps us in the thoughts of sex always. Due to that we are not able to bring our attention to the spiritual path and keep clinged to the affairs of this illusive materialistic pleasures.

Like we enjoy eating while we are at it , same way sex is to enjoy while you are at it. As we do not think about eating once we are over with it, same way we are supposed to be thiking not sex always. You know you can do without it. In fact food is a necessity day by day. Sex is not a neccesity always, we all know that. But the lust keeps us addicted to it, even though it's not a neccesity.

So enjoy when you are at it, but come back to your 'self' immediately after that.

No religion prohibits sex, unless we ourselves have renounced unnecessities of this world.

Christianity doesn't condemn sex, it condemns cheating on your partner, and having sex with someone of the same sex.

You have to remember that God 'made' sex pleasurable. He's just told us not to go crazy with it, to remember that we're not animals, and laid down some rules for our own good.

1 Corinthians 6:18
Flee from fornication. Every other sin that a man may commit is outside his body, but he that practices fornication is sinning against his own body.

There is one religion that glorifies sex .See Sura 78 entitled "AL-NABA" (THE ANNOUNCEMENT )of Quron
It says that Allah woulkd give the believer in his after life in heaven ," a dozen of young damsels of equal age with swelling breats to have sex for eternity"
What a great purpose of after life .It is not known what they woud do with the children born of the dozens of damsels for eternity and what the women beliver would get in heaven.
No religons comdemn sex . it is only adultery and coveting for others wives , rapes etc are condemned by all religions .
In fac the Hindu religions has prescribd certain rules regarding the astronoimical situations to have sex so as to produce children of great virtue and intellect .since people in have become mad after sex and have resorted to untimely and inauspicious occasions for sex , we see lot of people with much less intellect , violent nature and wicked character everywhere . the few good people we see have been by chance produiced at auspicious moments by chance ..
