The thermometer hits 80 degrees and I'm miserable....basically that makes tropical vacations a bust for me. Any other suggestions? Outside of the U.S. please....

Of the places I've been to, I would recommend going to Europe, especially the central or northern parts. They typically have overcast days and it rarely if ever gets truly hot there. Most buildings and homes don't even have air conditioning because most of the time, it's not needed.

Anything south of the equator, cause when it's summer here, its winter there. Try Argentina, Chile, South Africa, Southern Australia. Pretty much, find the area with the kind of winter you like in the States, see the closest latitude line to that area on a globe, then find the same line in the southern hemisphere and go to those counties that fall under that line.

PS Argentina is a cheap vacation right now, with all that defaulting on their World Bank loans business.

It depends on what time of the year do you want to travel. I think March to May and October to November are probably the best times to travel within the US and Canada. So, is December to February, if you LOVE snow. London is the best place to travel during summer, because its always breezy and pleasant and raining throughout. Australia and New Zealand are really good in October through December and March through June.

It depends on how much money and time you have. If you don't have any limitation on time & money then start packing up and go south like New Zealand or Australia. If this isn't help go further south ................. to South Pole to visit ANTAS <===

If time & money are limited then service your A/C or get the new one on lay away or just charge it to your credit card and stay at home or stay most all your hot day at the mall --- It's free and refreshing!

Good lucky!
