my dog has been having an upset stomach and licking her mouth alot .she also been having bad diharea and she vomited today she been laying down in her bed and going on herself and it smells very strong i even noticed some blood in her stool this has been a 2 almost 3 day thing and i havnt seen much improvment could it be from the recall stuff? i buy her purina Alpo but i checkd there site and they show wha ones have been recalled the dates and all and none of mine fall under those catagories and i only bought like a few that were prime slices of beef and chicken but manly the other stuff is what i bought that isnt the name title of the food that got recalled like the filet flavor ..they volentarly recalled there food so i dont see why it be from this because mine dosnt fit there recalled discribtion but some cans do have wheat gluten .i didnt buy much with this cuz of this stuff but she been fine for months eatin on it now she sick for some reason .

the reason why i stated to see this is because she had this once before for like a day or 2 and then she was fine she was sick like this vomiting and stuff was about 6 months ago and it went away ..she usally cries to go to the bathroom and she has 2wice today and then after she threw up she didnt cry or nothing just was licking her mouth and before i knew it i smelled somthing and she went on herself.. but i was planing on taking her to the vet but i cant till tomarrow or monday but i just wanted to see if anyone had an answer wha she might be having i dont neglect my dog i was just confussed cuz she had this before and then it went away that why i was asking maybe to see if i could put a face to the name

i wasnt planning on not taking her to the vet i love my dog and i dont need someone on her saying something like that i just wanted to know if anyone knew what it is she might have i know she needs a vet but i wanted to see if anyone knew wha it could be ...

yesterday she just had some diharea ...from solid to that... today it was some vomit and blood in stool just happened like 30 mins ago and it 11 at night this is why i posted the question

this is serious and you need to get her to a VET RIGHT NOW if you havent already.
it probably has nothing to do with the food you are feeding her....... she probably has a bacterial or viral infection.
do NOT add sugar to her food like one answerer suggested. if she has a bacterial infection, it will make things much worse.

What is the matter with you? Stop waiting and take the dog to a vet NOW. 'Planning to' is not going to help this dog - she's had the problem for ages and is already WELL overdue for medical attention!!
Forget about the damn recalled food, that's over with and it caused kidney or liver failure. Do you worm your dog regularly? With proper veterinary products? Oh look there are a thousand causes for vomiting and bloody diarrhoea, just get to a vets asap.

You need to get her to a vet! My dog was doing the same thing, i waited 1 day to see if she'd get better and she did not. I took her to the hospital and as it turns out she has ParvoVirus. She was throwing up and having diarrhoea and was very very tired she wouldn't get up for anything, even when i came home from work. And she keeps licking her lips like that because she is dehydrated, i wouldnt recomend trying to just give her water either, my dog only threw it all up only a couple hours later. My dog was in the hospital for a while and we didnt even think she'd make it. Do her a favor and bring her in.

I don't understand why you are waiting. Do you just want to watch her slowly die in front of you or are you going to act like a responsible pet owner & get her seen by a vet? Don't you understand she is critical if she is too weak to get up to go to the bathroom & is soiling herself? At this rate, tomorrow may be too late. You may think this is harsh but someone needs to talk some sense in you. And if it was the food, you've already lost her & hopefully, you'll not get another one since you are not responsible to see she needed your help days ago.

If you love her as much as you say you do then you will take her to the vet & get her the treament she needs & deserves.
Stop being Heartless & take her to the vet, Consider cooking her food from now on, I do not believe in giving my pups canned food as it does more bad then good, like their teeth falling out (all of them )

it is unhappy the canines is so sick. hear on your mom and dad. She has to determine the vet. it is inhumane to make her go through and how do you recognize for constructive what they are going to do. in case you wait to too long then she won't have a guess to make it. don't get offended on the topic of the data. i understand you're unhappy and injury yet human beings are purely attempting to help do the main suitable ingredient for the canines. Sorry your canines is sick, i understand what it feels opt to have an sick animal. i've got lost animals in a house hearth till now, to previous age, to ailment....you call it. attempt to chill down and take a deep breath. suited desires and get better to the canines. :)

Take her to the vet. It sounds like she might have parvovirus, which can be deadly if not treated. Take her to the vet immediately! Good Luck!

your dog really needs to see a vet right away or she
might die. it sounds like she is dehydrated and she needs
to drink lots of water right now more than food. this will not
make her better. if you love this dog please get her some
help immediately it could be kidney failure or poison or
anything but its not good. please take her to a vet.
