I've tried numerous different dietary supplements but the one that has worked for me is Histamine Blend, SP-33 by Solaray. You can find it in health food stores or from online health food/supplement retailers. I have recommended it to at least thirty people and it has worked for every one of them, even though who say they've 'tried everything' and 'nothing works'. It contains montomorillonite clay (safe to eat) which absorbs this histimes your body releases before they can cause a reaction (runny nose, watery eyes, sniffles, etc). In essense, it doesn't treat, it prevents the symptoms.

my daughter has allergies. Her allergist prescribes Zyrtec.
If you aren't seeing a doctor I would say Claritin is your best bet. You can buy it over the counter. Don't buy Claritin D. Buy just regular Claritin. This is the only antihistimine many people can take, because the side effects are very low.

Ayurveda or homeopathy would be a good option for you. Look in the net for resources which are in your area or which help with net based queries. NAET (Namboodripad Allergy Elimination Technique) is another good option for you.

You can try alternative medicines, they have been known to cure allergies. Try going to an acupuncturist or Chiropractor or a person who practices NAET.
