Sounds like she went to a quack. She most likely needs oral anti-biotics. Delaying treatment could cause permanent hearing loss.

If the doctor didn't give her an antibiotic or something for swimmer's ear, she should go to another doctor. This guy sounds like he's incompetant.

The ear, nose, and mouth communicate, meaning fluid can travel from one area to another. Your sister should be fine. He probably gave her some antibiotics.

they all share the same canal. a perfect example is if you use nose spray such as flonase, it often drips into your throat. im guessing the dr used a good amount possibly with some pressure. if this is really of concern to you, check webmd.com or give the dr a call

erm cuz ur nose mouth and ears r all connected.lol
i have to get my ears cleaned like tht all the time. im always getting earaches. could be when she cleans out her ears with q-tips it just pushes it farther in her ear

She has a fever. Give her some tylenol and it will go away. If it doesn't,she needs to go to a doctor.

he was checking to see if her eustation tube was blocked. That is the tube that drains from the ear to the throat, nose etc.

take her to a different doctor I never heard of that she needs antibotics if she has a high fever or pain
