Don't atheists think this life is it, and thats it? why's he wasting all his energy on God if he doesn't believe in Him? wouldn't partying be more logical?

Why did so many people spend thousands of years putting the bible together?
Dawkins has a view and has the freedom to share his view.
Seems pretty pompeous to ask this question when there is so much history in the making of the bible.

Actually poptart, Dawkins is one of the most famous biologists in the world. His books -- from the Selfish Gene on, have mostly been about biology. Certainly he's always been an atheist, but in his semi-retirement, he's dedicated his career to religion specifically because Creationists are trying to ban his field of study.
And his public speaking skills have much improved.

There was someone else that railed against believers too, his name was Saul. Jesus called him one day and he became Paul, one of the most passionate proclaimers of the gospel in all of time. Nothing is impossible for God. I ask for God to have mercy on Richard Dawkins and show him that Jesus is the truth, the life and the way.

I think Mr. Dawkins' obsession is with Mr. Dawkins, not with God. He wants to be the great scientific iconoclast but he's clearly not up to the job.

Incase you don't know, Dawkins has spent most of his life studying Evolutionary Biology and Animal behavior. His anti-religion stance is what has made him popular, but that doesn't mean his life centers it.
