"Jesus" was not a vegetarian. He was a Jew and He ate the passover every year, so it makes sense that he would eat meat at other times also. They also ate fish, He fed the 5,000 with fish.

He kept what we would call today ( for the most part) a kosher diet. Leviticus 11 lists the foods that we are allowed and not allowed to eat. Lamb and cow are on the clean, or edible, list.

Edit: There is absoultly no contextual evidence in the Bible that the food laws of Leviticus 11 were ever rescinded. Therefore, pork is still unclean meat for Bible beliving Christians and should not be eaten.

No he wasn't a vegetarian.
There's two things he ate:
Genesis 18:2-8 = he ate a calf which is cow meat
Luke 24:34-44 = he ate fish

Also there's several accounts of him feeding fish to the multitude.
In Matthew 15:35-38 and Mark 8: 6-9 the Bible tells of miraculous accounts of Jesus feeding four thousand with 7 loaves of bread and a few small fish.
In Mark 6:38-44 there is a different account where Jesus once again miraculously fed five thousand with, this time, 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish.

Also you wanted to know what you can eat and what you can't eat. You can eat lamb because it is clean. See these sites:

Is shrimp or pork bad to eat?
First of all they are scavengers. If you go back in the Old Testament; God distinguished what foods we should eat and which one's we shouldn't. Now if you decide too; that's your choice, but some groups don't because it's an abomination to eat anything unclean. Isn't our body the temple of God as stated in 1Cor.3:18-19? We supposed to take care of our body and be in good health (3John 1:2).
Shrimp are made to eat the garbage under the sea floor; they carry diseases too. The pig is a scavenger too; it eats the slop on the earth and if you looked under a microscope of cooked ham; you will find worms in it. You really want tricinosis and diseases and things in your body?

----IF THE CLEAN AND UNCLEAN MEATS WEREN'T VALID FOR TODAY; THEN WHY OH WHY WOULD THE LORD PLEAD WITH FLESH NOT TO EAT UNCLEAN MEAT--(ISAIAH 66:15-17). ALSO NOTICE DEUT.14:4 "SHALT NOT EAT ANY ABOMINABLE THING" AND REV.21:8 "...THE ABOMINABLE SHALL HAVE THEIR PART IN THE LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE: WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH."

I don't think Jesus would have fed people fish if He were a vegetarian.

As far as what God commanded, it is recorded in Leviticus 11. This chapter speaks about what God allowed the Israelites to eat and not to eat.

I would think that if God allowed the Israelites to eat certain kinds of meat, that Jesus, being fully God and fully man, would likewise eat certain meats.

Well lamb HAD to be eaten at pass over, and fish was a regular in his diet, and the diet of his followers. SO I guess it depends on what you consider a vegetarian in the purest sense.
Jews in general, and Jesus was Jewish were allowed to eat meat as long as the blood was properly drained out of the animal.
So if Jesus was a vegetarian, it was just like today, a personal choice, not a necessity

Not unless fish and lamb chops have suddenly been classed as vegetables. Jesus did eat fish...He took a bite of fish after He was resurrected in order to assure His followers that He was flesh and bone, and not a spirit. Jesus also ate the Passover with His family as a child growing up, and probably as a Man with His followers. Don't confuse that with the Last Supper. What was going on in the Upper Room is something called "The Fast of the Firstborn", which is a part of the Passover ritual which takes place on the night BEFORE the Passover lamb is slaughtered, and which involved only firstborn children, that remembers the firstborn slain of the Egyptians and offers thanks to God for the firstborn of the Hebrews who were "passed over" by the angel of death.

He was not a vegetarian and no, all foods are available to us. However, God spoke of not eating or drinking the blood of an animal.
In Deuteronomy, He says that we should not eat pork/pigs. But that is debatable as it was prior to the new covenant. Some think eating pork is not right and for them; they should not eat pork and no one should tell them they must.
However, no place in the Bible says we cannot/should not tough a pig; pork.
If you feel it is wrong do this or that, don't do it. Why cause yourself more grief than you already have?
At least, that's the way I look at it.

Of course not. He was Jewish and celebrated Passover according to the instructions provided in the Old Testament scriptures, and that means feasting on the roasted flesh of a young lamb or goat. The menu is not optional.

He taught that there are no dietary restrictions for Christians, telling them "it is not what goes into a man that makes him unclean, but what comes out of him", a clear rejection of Jewish dietary laws.

I can tell you are a vegetarian, trying to get validation by finding proof that Jesus was one too. Jesus is said to have fed people with fish, so he must have eaten fish. No, Jesus was no sissy vegetarian.
