For real has anyone really said this to you?
If so, who, were, when?
I've heard so many on Yahoo Q/A say its been said to them.
In my whole adult life no ones ever said this to me, even before I was a Christan.
I can't understand how anyone could say such a thing or pass judgement on others like that.

Ive heard it many times before but its usually "youre going to burn in hell IF....X"
People never seem to realize that there is always a way out, its not set in stone. And there is NEVER anything wrong with reminding people of the consequences of their actions and beliefs. If you knew someone was on the road to destruction, what kind of character would we conclude you have if you let them go to destruction happily without saying a word about the truth? We would conclude that you were doubly evil for knowing the truth and not caring enough to say something.

what happens is that christians do not preach door to door like JWS that is why you don´t have such closer encounter with "go to the hell" people, I had the experience 3 times in my life, the most funny I was the one that were preaching and went to his house to share something of the bible and he insult me , if he even know who I am, I just remember Matthew 7:1-5 do no judge people.

Yes, I have -- recently and in this Forum, as a matter of fact. I was told that I was in danger of Hell-fire because I'm Catholic and I interpreted the Bible 'incorrectly' according to this person.
If that isn't the irony to end all ironies. . .one Christian telling another Christian that they're headed to Hell. I don't understand it, either, but that's just the way some people are.

I have heard it before. AND I am Christian. Go figure.
We live in a world full of selfish and self-righteous people.
There are also many kind and friendly people too though, so I try to surround myself with them as much as possible, and be friendly to the mean ones.

Yes. I was told by a Fundamentalist that I was going to burn in hell for being an Episcopalian and not belonging to a "true Christian church".

Yes. More than once. I my face to face encounters I rarely bring up religion. I have had some zealots get in my face.
On Yahoo I have had repeated E-mails also telling me I am going to hell.

All the time. Read some of my questions.
Also, when I tell people I'm not a Christian, they do occasionally. For example, today, I was told this by a child at a movie theater.

If I had a dollar for every Yahoo Answers "Christian" who has said this to me ... I could quit my job and do this for a living.
Why? Because I defend evolution (and occasionally gay people).
Talk about people who miss the point, eh?

Yeah. Wish I was joking.
Along with stalking my house for 7 years desperately looking for the Satanic cult they were convinced we harboured.
Stupidity is universal.
