I've got a half sleeve that I just finished and I think if you like the idea then go for it. I feel so much more like ME now that it's done and I really couldn't care less what people think. If a guy doesn't find it beautiful on you, then you don't want that guy. Oh, and for the points, Eddieusa, go **** off.

Some tattoos are interesting ... some are unique ... most are a distraction from your natural beauty. There are many tattoos I've seen on women that are very attractive, but the bigger they get and the more visible they are while you're fully clothed, the uglier they are, particularly as you age. If you have a tattoo that's in a very noticeable area and you work somewhere where there's an appearance and dress code, you may never get to be anyone other than an entry level worker. Many places I've worked insist that no tattoos show while you're at work. If you can't cover them, you usually can't work there! Sounds harsh, but look at from an employer's perspective. If you work in retail and your a 'painted lady', you Will actually offend the sensitivities of many conservative customers. It will hold you back when you're looking to advance in your job ... trust me. I'm a small retail business owner and I can assure you, I don't hire over-tattooed people for that very reason. My bottom line is what you get paid with and when my bottom line is down, so is your pay rate!

Haven't you ever heard the reference to 'tramp stamps'? If people didn't think that way about tattoos, nobody would have come up with that phrase!

I have 4 smaller tattoos placed throughout my body and all I get are compliments. I think a few tattoos on a woman are tasteful and attractive.

And for Eddieusa... I am a MARRIED tattooed woman. I am not slutty, I never have been and I never will be. You must not really know the meaning of slutty because if you did, you would know that it's a name given to people because of actions, not art. If you don't have anything nice to say, keep your mouth shut. Didn't your mother teach you manners?!?

When I think of sleeve I think..Billie Joe Armstrong. He's arms are the coolest on a musician..(I think) I'm 14, and am gunna start inking in 4 years when I'm 18, and might do an adeline logo, or somthing to honor green day (who knows where they will be 4 years from now.) but I'm not going to do a sleeve, not my style, but I think they look cool. I'm going to end up having one though, cuz, I'm gunna have so many tatts on my arms actually forearms, and maybe my hand. I say go for it, your expressing yourself. Flippin sweet.

slutty......of course now adays, slutty is cool. Obviously, I'm not from that age (thankfully). They are bad enough on guys,,,really bad on girls. I have no respect for a girl that has permanent tattoos all over herself. Nasty! But then again, everyone your age thinks that is funny. I don't. When you're 50 or 60 that is gonna look so much more nasty. I hope I don't see it. Keep em covered up.
