Anyone can get braces at any age. Most Orthodontist, don't even start treatment until people are 12 years old. I am 24 and am currently wearing braces. If your front teeth are over your bottom lip, it is called an overjet with an overbite, and it is a very common thing. It can be corrected very easily with orthodontic treatment. Also, you should make an appointment with an Orthodontist, most of them don't charge for a consultation (first visit). They usually do an exam and take pictures of your teeth. They will explain what they will have to do to straighten your teeth and how much it will cost, and then you can decide whether or not you want to get them.
Hope this helps.

It is never to late to get braces. If protruding front teeth is the only problem, you may want to ask the doctor if there is another appliance, besides braces that will work.

I haven't ever had that, but as we age, our gums recede. Also, if the gum is irritated it might swell some between the small close teeth. If it doesn't clear up in a week or so, see a dentist to be sure.

I know people who have got braces in their 20's and 30's so it's not too late at all so dont stress. Your height has nothing to do with it.

No, I got mines at 17, 18. I've had professors have them in their 30s or 40s. Height shouldn't make a difference. Good luck!

People as old as 75 can get braces.

You are never too old. 14 is a terrific age to begin orthodontic treatment. Do it while you're young and get it over with! But remember to wear your retainer afterwards!
