Extra hold mousse. If you use gel it will look like helmet head.
This style is a faux-hawk. Your hair should be at least 1.5 - 2 inches long on top before trying this. With slightly damp hair work the extra hold mousse through the top with your fingers. Seperate the top hair from the sides with a comb. Comb the sides down and slowly and gently swirl and twist the top/front of the hair with your fingers. Use a blow-dryer on high heat low blow to speed the set.

he probably got it like that with some hair wax. you would have to get it cut longer and then style it with wax. take the picture to the hairdresser next time you get you hair cut and ask them to style it like that.
