I have downloaded several documents that are in .pdf format, and several of them come with instructions that state that you can put text in the document to fill it out once it is downloaded in the .pdf format, but I can't figure out how to do it. Will somebody please tell me how to put text in a downloaded .pdf format document. Thanks.

Can't edit a PDF. You have to convert it to Word with a PDF converter. I have PDF Converter 3 -- they are now up to 4. Saw it on sale today for $39.

There is also a freebie online - www.media-convert.com.

If you have a scanner, you can print the PDF then scan it as OCR (optical character recognition) and indicate that the converted document is to be sent to Word. Be sure to save it to a new name or it will overwrite the PDF.
