Okay, my problem is that my parents don't believe me about anything. When I get sick, they always say "Maybe you're just tired." They also don't believe I have depression. I told my mom I was depressed but she didn't believe me. None of my friends believe me either. They always say I act too happy to be depressed, but I am really not happy. I just want to know if you have any ideas since nobody really takes me seriously, I mean, I am usually a serious person so I dont know why people dont believe me. Please help. :-)

I dont really feel comfortable talking with my parents or a counselor. My family makes fun of people that have mental problems, so it's kind of hard to go through life like this.

looks like we have the same problem...but rather telling them that I'm depressed, I just keep it all in...i don't tell anyone--you know, the silent dying...and it works...they're the one who always barrage me with questions like 'if i'm ok' or something like that...just be silent, don't speak a lot, ponder more and it won't be long before someone notices you and take you seriously...

They don't believe you because you put on that happy face so they are believing you are really happy when your not. I used to suffer from depression too and only in school i wouldn't show it so when everyone at school found out i was suicidal everyone thought it was for ''attention'' when really that wasn't the case. I think you need to talk to a counselor about your depression he/she might be able to help you and you need support from others since your family and friends don't believe you. Depression shouldn't just be brushed off as if it's nothing it IS a serious matter.

Maybe if you could explain to your parents what you are depressed about it would help some. Sit them down and tell them how you are feeling inside, what you are thinking, if you are having trouble concentrating, whatever it is bothering you. That will help them to better understand you and take you more seriously. You may just be going through a phase right now or you may need to get some counseling. Maybe if you are in school, you could talk to a school counselor about it. Don't let it go. Ask someone for help again. Good luck & feel better.

you need to express your feelings to your mom..not just say I'm depressed but say i feel like this or like that so that your mom can really understand what you mean when you use the word depressed and then tell her you really think you need to see a doctor before you get any worse..some times its hard for people especially parents to admit that their child could have such an issue and some times people just don't get it until it becomes a major problem especially if you appear to be happy or out going because people cant obviously see how you feel inside they only see your misleading smile and happy demeanor...

My first thought is, are you getting professional help with your depression? I hope you are. A lot of parents dont want to admit that something is wrong with their child because a lot of them feel responsible for the problem or they feel guilty, like they haven't done enough. I would surround yourself with people who will support you and believe you. You can't make anyone believe you if they don't want to but you can choose to be around other people who will believe you!

in specific circumstances horses take the bit super, and then unexpectedly they do no longer. A reason he could no longer now, is probably one time once you have been taking the bit out or putting it in, perchance you by twist of destiny hit his enamel a sprint. Their enamel are very very mushy. yet one extra reason could desire to be is he's in basic terms being a sprint bit a brat and sorting out you. no rely what however you won't be able to offer up once you flow to place his bridle on - you would be able to desire to win. a thank you to make it less demanding is positioned fairly of molassas on the bit. They love molassas. If this is tastey he will positioned it in his mouth. This worked with my aunt's horse. Now she takes the bit no project.

Try seeing a counselor in school or something. If you cant get help from your parents or friends, then get professional help on your own. talk to someone that doesn't know you. Ten have like a family meeting or something w/ that counselor, to let your parents know whats gong on.
