Often it means feeling as if you are not in control, or that you have lost your sense of self. I have had this same dream at different times in my life, but every time I was in a place finacially or emotionally where I definitely didn't feel like I was in the driver's seat. Each time I had the dream and realized I was missing teeth, I was horribly torn up about it, like someone had taken something vitally important to me. Teeth represent a sense of confidence and security, which is something none of us feel good about losing, or having it taken from us.

The old thing I heard before was it means someone is about to be born or about to die.
A dream is personal to everyone, so formula isn't helpful. Ask your self questions about the dream and answer then, out loud if it helps. Questions like, how did you feel in the dream, was the dream scary or funny or etc, who was there, why do teeth fall out. Eventually you will understand part of your inner dialog,

Txpuddin is right. Various books about dream interpretation state that the loss of teeth in dreams means you have recently been embarrassed in front of people or experienced an incident in which you "lost face" and became very self-conscious, usually in regards to your appearance. I tend to believe this interpretation because I have also dreamt of losing teeth at various times in my life, and always shortly after I had found myself in an unusually embarrassing situation.

Invariably, my teeth-falling-out dreams are ultimately about death. I'm always horrified, and death is quickly approaching. Everybody has dreams that don't fit the dream dictionary norms, so maybe it means something else to you, but those are some of my least favorite dreams, let me tell you...

teeth help you feel confident about meeting people. They also enable you to take in what you need from the world,so being toothless would mean that you feel ineffective.Carl Jung said that dreaming a tooth is being pulled out might refer to pregnancy and birth. But it could also link with words. The tooth dream could also suggest something in you that is painful.
Teeth falling out is one of the most common tooth dreams. The falling teeth link with loss of appearance, your feelings about ageing, and the apprehension it arouses in you.
Losing only one or two teeth reminds us of our youth when our first teeth fell out. What had been an intimate part of us is now gone.
Teeth loss os often used to warn us,or express loss-frequently of some one close to you.
I hope I was of some help.Take care.

Sounds like you know your diet is not good enough to maintain your teeth. Make sure to floss and brush like you are suppose to and get plenty of milk products. Or you may just have a fear of losing them.

This is one of peoples most feared events. It signifies vulnerability.............being exposed and embarassed , someone finding out who you are. It could be guilt about something you havent yet let go of or it could just be basic insecurities we all have of someone know how we really are and not liking us when they find out.
