and making progress. He said that after that, they will judge how I am doing at my work and if I do good or make progress, they can change me to full-time, if not, it won't change to full-time.. He also said that he likes me to make progress on the job and move on to learn other new things too..

What do you think about all these and why he decides to change my hours to part-time and what you think I can do?? I also think that there are many other full-time jobs out there and I think I can easily find one if I quit this one since they are going to switch me to part-time. Do you think I should quit or not and what other advice you have?? I just think the ppl in the office too are not very organized or stick to their words or say things that are not true...Like they insist that they have showed me how to do some things when they haven't....

Do you think he really wants me to quit, that's why he is doing that to me??

I think it could have been me that caused him to make that decision... because I asked him how I did and so he went to find out from the trainer. If I didn't ask him, he probably won't go and find out from the trainer and this would not happen... Oh well... only wish they would know or can value how much I need a job and don't like changing jobs and starting all over again....

Don't quit until you find a new job, then do the right thing and put in your 2 week notice.

It sounds like your time to move on has come.

It depends.

If you have enough credit, you can file for unemployment for the balance. When you file, they'll lay you off. That's how the system is set-up.

Now, if you accept this change, you'll have problems filing for unemployment later.

Suggest you sit down with a labor lawyer for a consultation. My writings are opinions. Each person situation is different. You may have laws protecting you from this type of action in your country, province or state.

Or you might want another job. Two (2) part-time jobs.

This could just be a way to get the same amount of work out of you but only pay you half.

I would go along with the part-time since it would give you some income while you use the extra time to look for a real position.

Be thankful for this. They could have just fired you.

Also, apply for unemployment., Since your hours are cut, so is your pay.
But definately, time to move on. But wait until you have another job lined up before you give 2 weeks notice.
It sounds like it isn't your boss's idea, someone higher up.

from experiance you should go find you another job because that is what your boss is tring to get you to do. It will only get worse from there and it's always better to give a 2 weeks notice and leave than to get fired.
