I won 1,000 dollars from georgia lottery in february 2007. Someone told me i have till the end of the year to file it, and some others say the deadline alraedy past. When is it?

You'll file it with your 2007 income taxes in early 2008.

Any income in 2007 goes on your 2007 tax return, due on April 15, 2008. You might want to throw a few hundred in the bank to make sure you don't pull up sort when you file.

For $1000, I would not worry about it and you will claim it on your taxes at year end.

The maximum federal taxes on your winnings would be $380, and that is totally dependent on how much money you (and/or your spouse) make from jobs and investements and such.
