oatmeal with raisins & cinnamon.-Good!
an orange, & an apple.-Good!
a soft pretzel w/ cheese.-Good (as long as cheese was lowfat; pretzels really aren't great b/c they are a simple carb; try something whole wheat)
2 bowls of honey bunches of oat cereal/grape nuts cereal too. (watch out here-cereal tends to sneak up on you; while it's good in moderation, the calories tend to add up and people underestimate the amount of cereal consumed)
1 thing of non fat yogurt (good source of calcium & protein)
& 3 oatmeal raisin cookies (good to satisfy your sweet tooth in moderation; maybe try to eat just one or two)

Each of these foods individually is good...however, your diet seems to be lacking in two very important things-a source of protein (like lean chicken breast or fish) and vegetables (these really help one feel full)

Excellent choice w/ the oatmeal-that's definitely the best way to start out the day (definitely keep this carb); I don't know what your activity level is, but you probably don't need this many carbs unless you are a serious athlete.

The best weight loss tip I can give you is to cut out as many processed foods as possible and replace them with lots of fruits, veggies, and whole grains (like oatmeal!)

Good luck!

It depends on your current diet. Do you normally eat these foods, or do your regular foods contain more fat? The best way to lose weght is to consume 500 less calories from what you normally consume. If you do this everyday, in a week, you will have lost a pound. Also, burning 500 calories a day can also have the same effects. Also, a dietary supplement is recommended since people on diets deprive themselves of some necessary nutrients. Remember that if you start feeling fatigue or get sick within the first few days of your diet, it is necessary to change your diet. A doctor cinsult is recommended.

Small steps. There were mostly good choices but some not so good ones. Too much flour in the cookies and the pretzel. You should learn more about "eating clean." (http://www.f-heit.com - and a book called "Eating Clean" by Tosca Reno.. also, Oxygen Magazine is great, too)
Its hard, but as you read and learn it will get better. Load up on fiber, even consider adding a powder fiber supplement to your diet. Fiber fills you up. Fruit and veggies are loaded with fiber.
Eating more calcium (yogurt is great source and of protein, too...) helps your body metabolize proteins and fats. Add more protein, sounds like you only got it in the cheese.
Okay. Here's to you. Keep up the good work. I'm working working working, too.

Try to eat less carbs, it seems thats what you ate most of your day. Try to incorperate protein with meat or fish into your diet. The fruit is lovely, try eating vegitables too. These items all sound low fat but make sure you make its low in cals. too, you can be getting too many calories and think its okay because of the low fat grams! Good Luck!

Seems kinda high in carbs. My nutritionist said to eat every three or four hours and balance the carbs and proteins. I don't think you ate bad, it probably is an improvement from what you ate before. But I'd watch the carbs. Good luck!

Will you answer mine?

You sure ate a lot of grains. What's missing in your diet here are the veggies and protein (meat, eggs, fish, etc.), also more milk products! Good luck to you!

honey bunches of oats isn't great , or the soft pretzel or the cookies. Just burn more then you eat and watch your sugar and breads and fats. You can eat anything in moderation.
