Don't do that. Here's my suggestion:
Step 1 - Cleanse your face
Step 2 - Do a scrub to exfoliate the dead skin and loosen the blackheads and whiteheads
Step 3 - Use a pore pack or peel off mask
Step 4 - After you've removed your pore pack or peel off mask, always apply toner and a light moisturiser

It sounds tedious but do this once or twice a week regularly and you should see a significant improvement.

NO! Toothpaste is highly abrasive and will only serve to exacerbate the problem with breakouts and blackheads! Get a good oil-free cleanser and use St Ives Exfoliant to help get the blackheads out!

That's an old model's trick, but it needs to be plain ol' white toothpaste because the whiteners and silica etc. in the newer formulas can really irritate your skin. It's the sodium that does the trick. Better to us a clay mask or salicylic acid on the spot.

Ok, please don't do that. Someone told me to try that, and I have a scar from where it didn't remove it. The only thing the made the scar go away was Clinique Acne Solutions Spot Healing Gel or Origins Spot Remover. Defainatley DO NOT use it as a mask all over your face. I tried it on one little spot and it did this. Try something else, such as a different mask that is actually for the face. This might work better.

no, toothpaste burns your skin. Only use it on a pimple if you want the yellow pus to come to the surface and you have to use the toothpaste that is plain and for sensitive skin that way your skin doesn't get that irritated.

You shouldn't use it as a mask as such, just applying a tiny bit to the problem area works. What it does is it actually dries out the whiteheads and this helps them clear up alot faster.

Biore strips are the BEST for blackheads. I get them on my nose and I can't believe how well the strips work!

No! that is a total myth, and it can actually irritate your skin and cause uneven skin tone and sometimes rashes.

Another myth is using vinegar!!!
