I'm doing a blog, and I'm going to itemize the questions and answers.

I especially want to list the drinking game questions, but I'm not sure if I can remember them all off the top of my head.

"Prove there is no god"

"If we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkey's" ( extra drink if it's spelled "monkies")

"Why are atheists in this section"

"doesn't it take more faith to believe in evolution than in god"

"Where do you get your morals from if not from the bible"

I get fewer questions than commentary. Like:
"You aren't REALLY an atheist."
"God just hasn't revealed himself to you yet"
"I pray for you"
"Have you ever at least tried to read the Bible?"

And the most hilarious of all, said to me by an otherwise very sweet, very Christian, lady at work, when I said (after a hard lesson learned) I am only interested in dating atheists or agnostics: "Aren't you afraid that they'll be serial killers or something?"

Because, of course, everyone knows if one is an atheist, there is a pretty good chance one is also a serial killer.

Honestly, I think most folks think Christians are "good" people, and I seem like a "good" person, so therefore I must believe in the same god, or at least *a* god. Atheists are bad, I'm not bad, so I can't be an atheist. It just doesn't compute, so they INSIST that I am just confused, or I don't know what I am saying. It's actually kind of funny. Unless I've had a bit to drink and feel combative, I usually just say "Well, I've thought about it pretty hard. So anyway, was it raining outside when you came in?"....

"So what do you base your morals on, if you can't rely on someone concrete and real like jesus?"

"Isn't it very easy for you to become a terrorist, its a very thin line that divides you?"

I have replies for these. But im tired of typing it out. They just end up telling me that god will forgive me. and i say-
"well, if it turns out god does exist- i know im in some DEEP ****."

Why do they get married?

This is my new favorite:

"Evolutionists, explain how the universe was created. Where did gravity come from?"

"Why are you in this section?"
"Don't you worry that you might be wrong & my god does exist?"
"Do you believe love / the wind / germs exist?"
"Isn't atheism / science / evolution just a religion for you?"
"Doesn't it take just as much faith / belief to be an atheist as it does to be a Christian / Muslim / Jew / etc?"
"Can you prove my god DOESN'T exist?"
"Why do you hate my god?"

They love to ask...

What happens when you die?

Where did the universe come from?

Do you believe in evolution?

Do you believe in the big bang?

Aren't you afraid you might be wrong?

Don't you know you really do believe?
