YES! hahah we have two TVs and one the receiver is not that good so hubby wrap foils on the antenna, it works better!

Putting foil on an antenae helps increase the quality of the images on the tv.

so does taking 2 pieces of speaker wire and attaching it to the antenna and then to a wire hanger on each corner and hanging it on a curtain rod or high up on the wall.HA!HA! im truly serious ! it gave me 2 more channels! I have satelite now but I used my hanger contraption for a couple of years.

we did this method as kids, however, i don't remember it working so well...the t.v. was still fuzzy and wasn't worth watching...get cable.
