She seems to be fine other than wanting to eat grass and then vomiting. She has been dry heaving, coughing, and belching in between playing. She just hasn't played as hard today as usual for her. I'm hoping she hasn't got a foxtail caught in her throat or something. Any suggestions?

its completely normal. puppies and dogs for that matter eat grass because it eases their stomach when they get a tummy ache. So now the question is why is ur puppy's stomach hurting...check wat you give her and make sure she isnt eating her poop or any poop. also you might not want to play too rough with her after she eats, especially because she is too young. hope this helps!

It could be anything, my boston mix does the same thing! She even eats the clumps of grass left from the lawn mower! I've heard that it could mean an upset tummy or a vitamin deficiency, The best thing is to ask a vet, but most dogs do it, I just leave mine outside a bit longer after she eats it so she can puke out there instead of all over the house. I think she just likes the taste of grass personally :)

Don't worry, she's probably fine, just ask your vet to be sure. Dogs eat grass to throw up and clean out their systems in the spring.

its normal for all animals to eat grass they do this to purposely throw up its just what they do. just be careful some people put pesticides on their grass and your dog could have eaten some grass with that on it which really would make them sick. if you see a big change tomorrow in her activity or diet tomorrow take her the vet
