Evil is NOT good.

There is NO reason for evil.

Evil kills, destroys, traps.

Why does God do this if he is so "good"? Man is his playtoy?

At first it might seem that if God created all things then evil must have been created by God. However, there is an assumption here that needs to be cleared up. Evil is not a "thing" - like a rock or electricity. You can't have a jar of evil! Rather, evil is something that occurs, like running. Evil has no existence of its own - it is really a lack in a good thing. For example, holes are real but they only exist in something else. We call the absence of dirt a hole - but it cannot be separated from the dirt. So when God created, it is true that all that existed was good. One of the good things that God made was creatures who had the freedom to choose good. In order to have a real choice, God had to allow there to be something besides good to choose. So God allowed these free angels and humans to choose good or non-good (evil). When a bad relationship exists between two good things we call that evil, but it does not become a "thing" that required God to create it.

Genesis 1 : 31.. And God saw every thing that He had made , and , behold , it was very good . And the evening and the morning were the sixth day .. **** no mention of evil by God "in the beginning" of His creation . So if God did not create anything but "good" in the beginning, then the only place evil can originate from is after man sinned against the Word of God . Before man disobeyed God , there was no evil . Evil in itself is anything that disobeys` Gods` Teachings..And man has made doing evil a choice of man and his free will .

If you look at that verse in context, it is a translation. The English word "evil" has a different meaning than the Hebrew.

Sometimes upheaval, calamity, and trouble need to be stirred up to disturb a situation that is crazy. Like an abusive household can appear to be "peaceful" as long as the members do everything the abuser wants and don't speak up or ask for any help. Sometimes more turmoil needs to happen because it "shakes up" the situation and takes the abuser's power away. It's like that with abusive governments, workplaces, and oppressive situations as well. In that case, God creating calamity is a relief.

People's perception of God is way off, from the way God describe himself in the bible, I accept and embrace what God had said in Isaiah 46. A lot people who go to church will read Isaiah 46 and will pretend and denied God did not just say that about himself, in turning denying the power of God in there heart's. God is Almighty!!!!.

Read Job chapter 12 for further understanding.

If God did not create evil, then we would have what is known as dualism. We know that there is evil. If evil were independent of God, then there would be two Gods, the God that is good, and the God that is evil.

Some things we are not meant to understand. I think that this is one of them. Paul explained in the NT that goodness cannot appear as goodness without something to compare it against. Hence, evil.

Just as light does not appear as light without darkness to compare it to.

In Isaiah, you read there is none beside Him. So evil is not a god, a power, and is not beside God. God is all.
There are many points in the bible that are opposite of truth, just as mortal man is the opposite of God's spiritual idea, man. All of the opposite statements in the bible are guiding us out of believing the lies as we uncover them for ourselves, and we learn to find the spiritual significance of scripture, and pass the literal up.

Because you say, "there is NO reason for evil" we are to agree? God created it, so somehow it fits into His plan perfectly. You don't have to understand it all, just have faith, God will take care of the rest
