Obsessions with other people who are taken or not interested are an interesting opportunity to get in touch with something inside yourself that makes you drawn to things you can't have. Other versions of this kind of behavior are going out with people who you know don't really like you enough, but enough to string you along. What both obsessions and this dating pattern say about the person involved in them is that you have a problem with establishing true intimacy with people who are available and like you. Meaning, it feels safer for you on some level to pine after people you can never have because in reality, you'll never have to experience the stress of actually getting it.
Take some time out because believe me, there's nothing like the real thing, baby, and when you experience real love that loves you back just as much, you'll kick obsessions and part-time available men to the curb!

Well, if he already has a girlfriend, stop obsessing over him. It's not good for you. People can get eating disorders and crap from obsessions, I'm SERIOUS! It would do no one any good, least of all you, if you ended up in the hospital or dead just because of some guy. Try and forget about him, for a little while, at least. Take up a hobby or something. Something that's either really relaxing or requires a lot of concentration, like drawing.
