I can "learn" to like it, but logically I won't be able to do this long term if I don't really wanna eat it.

I can eat what I like (which isn't healthy) in small portions and stop when im full, and maybe my taste buds will change over time so that Im interested in healthier foods.

any other advice?

You'll die sooner - be sicker - and get fat.

There is more to being healthy than just your food choices, including exercise, your metabolism, your beverage choices and whether or not you take vitamins or supplements regularly. You can always factor in small amounts of health into unhealthy foods. Add tomatoes, olives, onions or lettuce to your nachos. Have a small amount of peas, carrots, corn, green beans, broccoli or cauliflower on the side at least one meal a day, and try snacking on fruits instead of chips. If you are an active person who otherwise takes care of yourself, you don't have to eat perfectly to be healthy. If you are truly concerned about your diet, only you can change it.

You can experiment in many ways to find healthy alternatives or additions to unhealthy food you like. You can also take some small comfort in the fact that your food tastes will probably change somewhat in the future - everyone ends up hating a childhood favorite or liking a veggie that you hated as a kid.

The thing about humans is that we are attracted to things such as salt, sugar and fat. All of which are vital to our diet, but in nature are rare. In modern society we have too much of this. So it is hard.

For many people healthy eating is horrible bland food.

But there is enough delicious healthy food out there to make your life better.

The first approach is not to eat a healthy diet, but make your diet healthier. If you have steak dinner, make the steak smaller, and have it with a salad.

If you want to eat something like chocolate, first eat some healthy food, then have a little bit of chocolate.

The other thing is this. Why should we eat delicious food every time. After a while it becomes uninteresting and bland. Instead, eat healthy food, and maybe once or twice a week, eat something delicious. Then you will really appreciate it.
