Yes. God blesses us and gives us favor among people who can promote us. However, He must be able to use us. God must know that He can depend on us to be His representative and that we will not be distracted by the blessings He has given us.
In the bibel. The book of Hebrews 12:1-4, It says, "Wherefore seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us., 2. Looking unto Jesus the Author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3. For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
I just want to encourage you to keep the gospel message of what Jesus Christ has done as the preeminent motivation in you life.
The pride of this life is our enemy. It puts us at odds with God. Remember what the bible says, that friendship with the world is enmity with God. Be careful as you succeed in your life. That you not fall away from your Redeemer.

We have free will, does God know what we will choose, yes but he does not make the decisions for us. Some people say never give yourself credit it is all from God, and ultimately yes, but God does not want you to lash yourself 50 times a night and say "I am not worthy" he wants you to enjoy things, as long as you are respectful to his laws. After a well earned accomplishment just remember God made this possible, before you go celebrate... but still celebrate.

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. This website will show you how to save a marriage and avoid divorce, even if you're the only one trying https://tr.im/444vG

YES! Honestly, things like job, marriage, health, have just as much if not MORE to do with your faith life than religious exercises. I believe God works with us in those areas. We have choice and God leaves our decisions to us, but he opens doors and helps us in guidance.

everyone who seems to the background Channel for solid information is a moron. the television did no longer turn them into one. in fact, everyone who seems to familiar media shops that are meant to be for entertainment to help shape their perspectives on issues like faith are morons. i think of for the main section, Wikipedia interior reason credible. And it continually has a disclaimer on the beginning up while they understand their information isn't very finished, or won't be extremely precise. This shows that the folk in cost over there do attempt very no longer ordinary to make a solid source, as a results of fact otherwise they'd not have that disclaimer. So I have confidence Wiki, yet now and returned if i'm undecided approximately what I examine there, i will circulate to different components to double verify. style of like google guidelines, now and returned they at the instant are not almost as good as they could desire to be, and that's advisable to double verify till now beginning your holiday. as far as a results of fact the Bible no longer being against homosexuality, I believe that attitude. i did no longer use to. yet once I found out that there have been people who had a various attitude in this, I have been given curious and needed to understand how they got here up with that. It seems that the previous testomony wasn't used to condem homosexuality earlier to Christianity. The Jews appeared upon those passages to signify that one shouldn't tension himself on yet another guy, as became carried out throughout temple prostitution. Christians are people who became this around and made it look as though God is against homosexuality. And in an prolonged time, Paul, being initially Jewish, became basically referring returned to what it pronounced interior the previous testomony. Paul became preaching to pagans, and persons who have been tempted to do what the pagans around them have been doing. He became warning them to no longer. besides, it is basically my handle this subject. you could circulate on and take each and every notice of that previous, sexist e book actually in case you opt to. it is your existence.

I don't believe in the sacred / secular dichotomy. Either everything is God's or it isn't. I go with the first.

We can receive Heavenly Father's guidance and strength in all that we do.
In the Book of Mormon, Alma counseled his son Helaman: "Cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever. Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day" (Alma 37:36–37; see also Alma 34:17–26).
If we have a difficult task before us, Heavenly Father is pleased when we get on our knees and ask for help and then get on our feet and go to work. He will help us in all our righteous pursuits, but He seldom will do something for us that we can do ourselves.
"And now I would that ye should...[ask] for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive." (Book of Mormon, Alma 7:23.)

I like how people assume that reality is more predetermined than actual cause/effect, it removes responsibility from the individual.
