However, is God involved in our secular/worldly affairs? For instance, when we look for a job? Our health, marriage? All these are up to us, or arranged by God?

Yes. God blesses us and gives us favor among people who can promote us. However, He must be able to use us. God must know that He can depend on us to be His representative and that we will not be distracted by the blessings He has given us.

The pride of this life is our enemy. It puts us at odds with God. Remember what the bible says, that friendship with the world is enmity with God. Be careful as you succeed in your life. That you not fall away from your Redeemer.
