There is someone in my martial arts class that I kinda like. But since he rarely talks to me, I figured he doesn't like me. After a while, I began to notice that sometimes when I am near someone else, he will talk and joke to that person. However, when he is talking to the other person, his body faces me (while his head is facing them). Could this be an indicator that he likes me?

that is so cute! yea, i think he likes you... but still, see his gestures if he is talking to other people not near you, and see if he acts like that as well. if he does, then maybe that is just the way he talks. lol.
