it's about the account of Balaam, here are a few scriptures from the book of Numbers as well as some other supporting scriptures about the account:
Numbers 21:21-35; 22:1-40; 23:1-30; 24:1-25.
(Numbers 22:22-31) . . .And the anger of God began to blaze because he was going; and Jehovah’s angel proceeded to station himself in the road to resist him. And he was riding upon his she-***, and two attendants of his were with him. 23 And the *** got to see Jehovah’s angel stationed in the road with his drawn sword in his hand; and the *** tried to turn aside from the road that she might go into the field, but Ba′laam began to strike the *** in order to turn her aside to the road. 24 And Jehovah’s angel kept standing in the narrow way between the vineyards, with a stone wall on this side and a stone wall on that side. 25 And the she-*** kept seeing Jehovah’s angel and began to squeeze herself against the wall and so to squeeze Ba′laam’s foot against the wall; and he went beating her some more. 26 Jehovah’s angel now passed by again and stood in a narrow place, where there was no way to turn aside to the right or the left. 27 When the *** got to see Jehovah’s angel she now lay down under Ba′laam; so that Ba′laam’s anger blazed, and he kept beating the *** with his staff. 28 Finally Jehovah opened the mouth of the *** and she said to Ba′laam: “What have I done to you so that you have beaten me these three times?” 29 At this Ba′laam said to the ***: “It is because you have dealt ruthlessly with me. If only there were a sword in my hand, for now I should have killed you!” 30 Then the she-*** said to Ba′laam: “Am I not your she-*** that you have ridden upon all your life long until this day? Have I ever been used to do to you this way?” To which he said: “No!” 31 And Jehovah proceeded to uncover Ba′laam’s eyes, so that he saw Jehovah’s angel stationed in the road with his drawn sword in his hand. At once he bowed low and prostrated himself on his face.

Also the breif story in the Bible Stories Book i have, but its a good story about the above account:
A Donkey Talks
HAVE you ever heard of a donkey’s talking? ‘No,’ you may say. ‘Animals can’t talk.’ But the Bible tells about a donkey that did. Let’s see how it happened.
The Israelites are almost ready to go into the land of Ca′naan. Ba′lak, the king of Mo′ab, is afraid of the Israelites. So he sends for a smart man named Ba′laam to come to curse the Israelites. Ba′lak promises to give Ba′laam a lot of money, so Ba′laam gets on his donkey and starts on his way to see Ba′lak.
Jehovah does not want Ba′laam to curse His people. So he sends an angel with a long sword to stand in the road to stop Ba′laam. Ba′laam can’t see the angel, but his donkey does. So the donkey keeps trying to turn away from the angel, and finally just lies down on the road. Ba′laam is very angry, and beats his donkey with a stick.
Then Jehovah causes Ba′laam to hear his donkey speak to him. ‘What have I done to you so that you should beat me?’ asks the donkey.
‘You have made me look like a fool,’ Ba′laam says. ‘If I had a sword I would kill you!’
‘Have I ever treated you like this before?’ the donkey asks.
‘No,’ Ba′laam answers.
Then Jehovah lets Ba′laam see the angel with the sword standing on the road. The angel says: ‘Why have you beaten your donkey? I have come to block your way, because you should not be going to curse Israel. If your donkey had not turned away from me, I would have struck you dead, but I would not have hurt your donkey.’
Ba′laam says: ‘I have sinned. I did not know that you were standing on the road.’ The angel lets Ba′laam go, and Ba′laam goes on to see Ba′lak. He still tries to curse Israel, but, instead, Jehovah makes him bless Israel three times.
