Hi Jack! Like any one man, he wouldn't be able to do a lot. War are complex affairs. Just ask yourself, why do wars start?

We really cannot know, as none of us ever knew Jesus and accounts of him vary worldwide. We cannot even prove that he ever existed. Historically, it seems he did and many Christians would like to believe he would have hated war and terrorism and thus fought both. This is what is often called "double speak". If Jesus hates wars, why would he fight them? If he hates terrorists, why didn't he just tell God to remove them all from the earth?
Your Mom's told me about you, Jack, and I know you're a very bright and very wonderful kid. If Jesus was truly the son of God he would abhor the fact that we attacked a country that was never a threat to us. I don't believe Jesus is the son of God. I believe that there is energy everywhere and that not everything can be measured or understood. People should look at history and try to improve their mistakes. This doesn't often happen. There are some very greedy and mean people.
There are ever so many good ones, though. Like your Mom. And you. Sometimes it seems they're hard to find, especially in the midst of all the terrible fighting here at home and in other countries. I know it took me a long time to understand that most people weren't mean and awful - that many had good hearts and were scared to act up for other people, or put on a tough front (like a pretend-armor, almost) to protect themselves from their own problems. People fight terror every day. I bet even you do. The thing is, Jack, that good prevails over evil a great deal of the time. It may not seem so sometimes but the world has tons of caring and kind individuals in it. They fight against terror just by being good people. Terrorism can be found in school and in people's homes as well as around the world. It is people who are as smart as you that we need to help save the world. There's so much you can do and I believe one day you'll find yourself helping to fight against it, everywhere. You don't have to be a soldier to do that. You can do that by performing a good deed from your very own home by being a penpal or getting involved in helping somebody. From what your Mom tells me you have a really, REALLY big heart. There are some lonely and abused kids online, maybe you could talk to ones your age and give them a good friend to lean on. There are kids who get bullied and all support eachother by being penpals. There are so many people who need help. I think it's a job fit for you, Jack. Try these to find someone you can talk to and help out of the terror caused by people who don't know how to treat others:

http://www.bullying.org/public/frameset.cfm
Or maybe you can find a way to talk to someone who really needs a friend like you:

Good luck, Jack! It is people who make a difference. Jesus obviously did according to the Bible. It is 2000 years later now and kids like you make a difference every single day (and I wish I could write a bible about you all. We'd call it Jack's Bible:P)

He's always been at war since there is a spiritual warfare that is ongoing. In fact the war on terror and all discontent is just the tip of the ice berg compared to the warfare that is done in the heavenlies and here on earth.
That battle is ongoing and as far as I know God and the devil have not called a truce yet. No Satan wants no part of the peace, or joy, or happiness, or love that God has in his kingdom. And ti's for sure he does not want man to have it either.
So this war that we, as man are seeing now as governments try to fight people that are filled with hate and choose to kill themselves and others is of the devil.
It is a shame to see "terrorists" that are blinded and who have been trained to hate and kill. They never had an oppotunity to have grow up in a loving environment and desire to be doctors, or dentists, or teachers or musicians. Rather they are blinded and have no hope for their own future. The trainers tell them there live is nothing here but will be rewarded for something better after they die. And they say it is God that is telling them that. But a loving God would say that is a lie, and send people to them to show how human beings are here to help each other instead of killing each other.
Jesus said to render to Ceasr the things that are Ceasar's and unto God the things that are God's. And I believe the soilders who are there are trained to fight in harm's way so that others might live in freedom and not under tyranny are working in God's army. And others that are in God's army are preachers, and doctors, and nurses, and teachers, and businesses that are there to help the citizens of that new born country to help it o govern itself.
I said alot but this is my opnion.

Not exactly sure. I'll wager there was some terrorism in his day. They were in occupied lands and certainly some people did hit and runs on the Romans, but none of that is really in the Bible.
Jesus would probably tend to those injured.
But war and its ramifications sounds like poverty and Jesus said they'll always be poor. Look at what you've got.

Daniel 2:44 : And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite.
Psalms 37:9-11 For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

When Jesus returns to reign, there will be no more war or terrorism. In His millennial kingdom, there will certainly be people who won't like Jesus (we know this because after 1000 years, Satan will gather armies for one last war against Jesus) but I think those people will not be able to cause any ruckus. I think He will rule with an iron fist in a velvet glove.

It is not a matter of what would Jesus do. It is a matter of what He will do. A time is coming when there will be a new heaven and earth, when there will no longer be wars. It is all recorded in the book of Revelation.Chapter 21 clearly shows it. the earlier chapters show how we get to that point.

Hey Jack! (I could bring myself to say 'Hi'... :) )
Jesus was concerned about people's souls. He taught about the Kingdom of God and how man is to relate to God and live a holy life. Jesus would definitely not be pleased with war or terrorism. There was war when He lived on earth. The Romans were conquering the world! But Jesus didn't speak directly for it or against it.
There was one passage that I know of where Jesus said "And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain." (Matt 5:41) That's refering to the Roman army telling men to carry their burdens for them. It was legal for a soldier to force a man to carry his burden for 1 mile. Jesus says do it, but go 2 miles. In otherwards, live above the law of the land.
So does God want us to fight a war on terrorism? I won't go into that...

Jesus calls us to pray for those who are being terrorized-- Jesus calls us who are saved to share His truth with others- and He has also showed us in His word that these things would happen because of sin.
Since the fall of Adam and Eve, many horrible things would happen because of sin-- and sin is horrible, and it is serious.
And that is why we all need Jesus! God tells us:
1 Timothy 1:15
"The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners......"
His gospel is still reaching many, and that is what He tells us who believe in Him to continue to do, to warn people about sin and how bad it is-- to show them there is a way for us to be set free from sin, through Him, when we believe and repent of sin-- putting our trust in Him. God is truly awesome!

Jesus would fight the War on Terrorism. Jesus fought against injustice, evil, and wrongdoing when He was on earth and expects His followers to do same.
