No do not help the eggs hatch !!! I raise ducks and know this will cause your ducklings not to make it. let nature take her course. If the duckling is too weak to come out of its shell it is to weak to survive and will die anyway.

The breed of duck would make a big difference in this case. All duck eggs should hatch on the 28th day with one exception Muscovy's.Muscovy eggs require 32 to 35 days. The biggest problem with helping a chick break free of the egg is there is no way to determine if the yolk sack has been completely absorbed. If the yolk hasn't been absorbed it means certain death. If your ducks are another breed other then Muscovy I they are already 4 days past when they should have hatched.Generally the cause of this is to low of an incubating temp.A thick membrane does sound like the hatch is a dry hatch and the humidity was not high enough.I would test one of the remaining eggs by cracking the top off and wait till the duckling pushes free.If the duckling is complete and the other eggs are making no progress I would check the other eggs in the same manor. It isn't recommended to help chicks break free of their egg.Though in all my years of experience I have saved many by helping them out. Some will never make it that is just part of home incubation. An 80% hatch is considered a great hatch in any incubator.
If you are hatching Muscovy's I would wait and give them more time.

If anything about hatching parrot chicks also holds true for ducks this does not necessarily mean that the chicks are inherently "weak." It could be something as simple as low humidity causing a dried membrane to stick to a chick and prevent it from rotating properly as it pips.
Anytime you attempt to assist hatch a chick (at least with parrots, however they are much smaller and fragile that a duckling) there is considerable risk in doing so. If the yolk has not been completely absorbed there is risk of infection in the crop. If the chick has not finished drawing in all of the blood from the veins in the membrane, there is risk of bleeding to death.
Again, at least as far as my experience with parrots, going into an egg too soon can be just as deadly as going in too late/not at all.
If the chick has pipped a small bump in the egg, or even a small hole, you could very carefully clear a bit more shell out of the way with a toothpick. Generally, if you're dealing with a dry membrane due to low humidity a simple solution is just to take a Q-tip and gently wet the membrane so it doesn't stick to the chick and trap it in place.
If you do attempt to assist the chick, always go into the egg through the fatter end, where the air pocket is and where the chick initially breaks the membrane and begins pipping. This will lessen the risk of causing any bleeding if you assist too early.

i could. that's too many to incubate. Do you have the different Rouens? I doubt she's laying 3 eggs an afternoon. Do you think of in keeping with probability in keeping with probability they're laying eggs in her nest? form of like cowbirds do? That way she would have the ability to take a seat down and hatch the eggs for them.

You are not supposed to help chicks out of their eggs. If they are not strong enough to get out, they are not strong enough to survive.
Meanwhile, make sure birds and eggs are safe and warm.

no, if u touch the egg it takes out the natural mother scent & the baby will not b able 2 find his natural mother... plus, the baby needs 2 hatch on it's own, if it is'nt strong enough 2 come out of the egg then it will nvr make it on it's own, unless ur planning on taking care of a duck for 20 yrs lolz :))
