I probably would not recommend using a coupon on a first date. She might think that you chose the restaurant b/c of the coupon and NOT b/c you put thought into the choice and wanted to treat her. I think that after you date a girl for a while, it would probably be a good idea to use a coupon-after all, it shows that you are financially responsible.

If it was a big deal to her, you should probably turn around and run. Do you really want anything to do with a girl that cares if you used a stupid coupon or not?
That said, I wouldn't do it on a first date.

Why should it be bad? I use restaurant coupons regularly. Check out http://www.couponseek.net They seem to have plenty of categories, vendors and some coupons and discounts. I love the buy one get one free dinners!

It shows that your cheap and cant afford to play without a coupon. If you wanna use a coupon, dont use it when your with your girl. It leaves a bad impression!

No. It means he could treat you to a much nicer dinner than if he had to pay the full price for both of you. It also means he's money-conscious which is much better than the opposite, which is being totally effed up when it comes to undersanding money.

Hey, who cares. I'm all for saving money. If you got a coupon, use it. If the girl freaks out.... well... do you want to be dating/committed to someone who will want you to pay out the nose all the time for her?

It's a big deal if you haven't been going out very long. It makes you look cheap. I've been with my guy two years, so by now I don't care. But it makes the girl think it's a burden to you to take her out, and no one wants to feel that way.

wat da hell is BFD? well anyway, i wudnt recommend 4 a guy 2 pay wit coupon for dinner, especially on first dates.. so use it when u A.) go out wit an old gf...at a not-so-fancy restuarant! well pretty much, usin coupons 4 dinner is not so hot..
