Are boys always so mean.?

Question

I went to the movies with a group of people and there was a guy in the group i sat with and we talked during the entire movie. well after we got done talking on the way back to the parking lot i heard him making fun of what i said.It really hurt because of personal stuff.I mean what should i do?

you sound pretty young...so I'm assuming he is too. Listen, guys don't mature as fast as girls do. If he talked to you for a long time he probably likes you, but he may have been worried about not looking "cool" with his friends because he was talking to a girl.....I know, sounds stupid...but you would be surprised. Also, he may not have realized that what he said would hurt you...he may have thought you would think it was funny too. Don't worry too much about it. Young guys aren't very smooth yet. Mainly they are just awkward and nervous. Let it roll off if you can! :)

Just say nothing. Silence is the best weapon,especially if he realized that you heard what he said.
He's just crazy like those guys who are big "babies" still sucking breastmilk.
If your insuation doesn't bring him to appologize for what he did,comfront him and sweetie,don't laugh about it.Let him see some seriousness in you.

Next time,don't tell any guy about your personal issues. Some guys are better in "running their mouths" about people than ladies.

well, not all boys are mean. there can be some mean ones you just have to find them. what you should do is confront himand ask him why he said that behind your back. He might just be showing out for his friends. And if he was then you can find someone different. meaning that hes not a good friend for you if hes talking about you behind your back. just think if he can talk behind your back he might lie to your face.but just do what you think is right.

Well, if you didn't know the guy, you shouldn't've told him all that stuff.

Otherwise, ignore him because you can't do much else. If he's so willing to tell your secrets, than he's not right for anyone - not just you. He's not worth staying in touch with, sorry.

Boys are stupid, not mean. More likely than not, he didn't consider that he was hurting you; he was just kicking it with his friend. He could have been mean-spirited, but more likely than not he was being tactless, which is different; it's a sign of grand-scale...stupidity.
