Irreversible damage happens ONLY above 8 gr a day unless you have liver or kidney damage already.
Unless you are younger than 12 and as a general rule it's prudent to stay below 4 gr a day.
1 pill of Tylenol ES is 500 mg acetaminophen.
Note: parents not necessarily know which medication dosage you should be put on, doctors and pharmacist are more likely to know!

You should never take over 1000 mg of tylenol in one day, or it will cause irreversable liver damage. 2 Regular strength is equal to 1 extra strength. You are 14 so you can take either 2 regular strength or one extra strength.

My daughter is 15 years old and I let her take two regular strength Tylenol and if she has a bad allergy day, or sinus thing going on, I give her one extra strength Tylenol. It shouldn't upset your tummy, but drink a glass of water with it.
Hope this helps a little. :)

You're a lot smaller than many, so you should take 1 per 4-6 hours.

Take regular strength. I think extra strength would be to much for you. Take two every 4 to 6 hours. :)

Read the bottle. Or ask your parents. Either way, their answers are better than any of ours.
