Why doesn't the bible tell us why dinosaurs where wiped out and how long these obviously magnificent creatures

And Leviathan and behemoth do not count. You don't get any points for trying either. Do you know how many different types of dinosaur there were? Leviathan and behemoth just don't cut it.

The bible is not the word of God and all the people who believe it is are wrong.

You have a great question. I do not pretend to know the answer, but I have some thoughts on the subject. The Bible contains a very brief history of God's dealings with mankind beginning 6000 years ago, and ending about 2000 years ago. So it covers a time span of about 4000 years.

If we want to believe the paleontologists, we are to believe the majority of species of dinosaurs lived on this planet a long time prior to the beginning of the record we call the Bible. I suppose God would have commented on the dinosaurs had the early prophets inquired.

Not far from my home I found the petrified bones of a dinosaur. The leg bones were 12 inches in diameter, and the vertebra's were huge, each one too heavy to lift. It was certainly an awesome animal.

And, by the way, God does exist, you can be certain of that.

The time the bible was written would have been many centuries after the era of dinosaurs, so it is unlikely dinosaurs would have lived 'among us'.

Humanity is a fairly late development in the tree of life, even in the bible it says humanity came last.

Dinosaur remnants, such as crocodiles and alligators do live among us in this age, so if you can imagine living with them but 10 times bigger, you would have some idea what the dinosaur era would have been like!

because the Bible isn't true.If you take the ages of everyone from Adam down through the geoneology of Jesus (Yashua but Jesus is derivative of Zeus) it shows the earth as being 4000 years old,not billions of years old,add 2007 years aprx the Bible says mankind anyway is 6000 years old,carbon dating and civilizations history shows this to be incorrect.Add the Flood story that would have changed the atmosphere to where all air breathing mammals would have drowned by breathing the air and the fact that an eternal punishment in a place called the lake of gehenna didn't come about until the New Testament as Rome was assimilating religions and cultures (see Greek Mythology incorporated into the New Testament like the Maddonna Statue with Christ identical to Greek Prostitute Godess,Jesus modern derivation of Zeus,Easter (Ishtar))and the only ongoing miracle is the Catholic Priests take a "vow of celibacy",wear black dresses,make little boys wear dresses and sing like woman and then molest them..if it doesn't make sense it is because it isn't true....however since a logical answer would blow the minds of the brainwashed sheople,the Bible does mention the Dragon and That Great Serpent...so technically Dragons were Dinasours......and mentioned in the Bible..now,did Adam have a belly button?Can God make a rock so big that he himself can not lift it?

The Bible was created as a way to keep order and good values by story telling some true some not so, I,m sure if they knew what we know now the dinosaurs would have been mentioned. Mind you it does say God created Heaven and earth Man and all Gods creatures, So you can include them in the creature section I suppose.

Read Job 40-42 and you'll realize that what he is talking about, Leviathan and Behemoth, something only described as a dragon or a terrible lizard (Dinosaur), and there are records that some "dinosaurs" are still alive, Loch Ness for one, and in the Congo they describe things that are huge and look like what we call dinosaurs.

Because all that happened long before Adam & Eve, and it is irrelevant to the book's message.

Apparently God did not intend the Bible to be used as a earth science/geological history textbook, so these kinds of details were left out.

cause when the bible was compiled, there was no evidence of dinosaurs...or well, they hadn't been looking. I'm sure if the men who compiled the bible had known of the dinosaurs existence, then they would be in the book.

hmm well thats kind of tough.and a pretty good question because in genisis it says god created the earth and all this other stuff. and adam and eve but dinosaurs werent anywhere in there.i mean not to sound crazy but they could have been like demons?.

i got it i got it!!!!>ok you know how god made the earth? mmmk and eve gave adam the apple???? and all this stuff went on..and satan was kicked out of heaven and was sent here? well maybe he was the one that put them here? like he just wiped us all out and just decided to start his on little shin dig up sence he wanted to be like god. but i will get back to you because honestly i have no idea but i will ask my mum or my pastor.

and another brainstorm i put together for ya maybe its just the ''worlds'' thing you know since what we call home is actually satans home and god put us here to be the light in this crazy place. so we could get stuff together.,.....
