Where do I change the resolution to upload movies?

Question

Ok I have downloaded the videora ipod software, I still don't know how this software will help me to have good quality uploads of my home videos. I don't know about high or low resolutions, I don't see the option to use mp4, or resolutions. Can someone be more specific and tell me what options to look for either on my dvd ripper, or this videora ipod converter. I am just trying to upload my videos to myspace and other sites.
