weaker in what way ? a decrease in the 1RM or 10RM? there should only be a slight decrease in muscular endurance when you cycle off creatine. plus there is also the physcological effect that supplements have on some people.

I'm not nearly an expert on this, but my grandfather (who is a personal trainer) told me before that if you get on stuff like that your body will cut the natural supply of it because it thinks you will just keep giving it that and it doesn't need to make any, so when you get off of it your body won't produce whatever has the effect the drug you were taking has, so therefor with the creatine thing your body probably isn't making any naturaly.

yep build your muscles but will over due if you take without training and the right food it will back fires.. like every PILL you take stop it and do it the natural way honest Ive worked in a health shop & know what iam talking about it will make you weaker when not used properly .. to build muscles just go onto a site PC internet soo easy.. to find out just eat chicken etc.. cheaper and you know what your doing the answer is NOT easy in taking A PILL you habve to work for it other wise you never gane it ...

why take creatine?
Just eat healthy natural sources of protein....
To answer your question... your body is use to a routine.
And well, suplements will train your body to expect "creatine" in your diet. And is not performing 100% until it is satisfied.
I would never resort to it...
... but... definitely. Eat a wider range of foods.

Because it is an artificial drug designed for instant gratification instead of sustained strength. While it will make you look bigger and able to bench more it is an additive to the muscles that makes for performance enhancement only during the time used. While you will get stronger you will not maintain the peak strength per removing the additive. If you want to impress some chicks by your manscaped body or bench take it but if you just want to get stronger eat healthy and earn it so you can keep it.
