Edith is close, buit it's not as simple as she says.
Faith is the end product of belief - and faith is visible if you truly believe, because you will act on that belief.
Belief without action is simply a hypothesis. It's not faith by itself.

Yes these are different.
For example:
We like chocolate
We know that chocolate will hit the spot (craving a snack).
We know that type x chocolate (some brand) will work it always has.
We have faith in type x chocolate.
We believe chocolate is the answer (belief).
We know type x chocolate works, So we get some (faith).
Now faith is not knowing something it is: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11)
Actions on belief - yes. Hopes based on trusting God and working toward them - yes.
Faith is shown in our actions.
We apply to our life what God would want or want us to do.
Leave the results of our actions to Him = Faith.

Belief means that you place your faith in something. Faith is believing w/o seeing.

The Bible says Faith without Works is dead. I think Faith is the passive one. Faith and Belief are one in the same.

To believe in something is to know you can accept it as truth. To have faith in something is to trust it to be true, you are required to do something, to accept it or reject it.The bible says "great is the faith of those who have seen and believe but greater is the faith of those who have not seen and believe".

I agree
(Genesis 3:22) And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
