I know I know, 2WD lifted, but gotta make do with what I got. I don't have the money to buy a whole new 4WD, even with the trade in value of my truck. I could turn it into a 4x4, but I don't got that kind of money.

Waste of money buying a lift kit for a 2WD, but you can get them from http://www.jcwhitney.com.

Because of on going lawsuits against ford involving ball joints failing pre-maturely on their trucks thus causing death and or injury to owners durring the past 12 years, you may find it hard to find any quality lift kit still available for your application. Many after market suppliers will not sell the lift kit for certain ford trucks untill this is resolved as so they do not risk being liable in the event of an incident. Check with your local ford dealer for more info. Just don't want you to get hurt, thats all. Be safe.

Considering parts prices only; a body lift would be cheaper than a suspension lift. Considering labor prices, the body lift probably costs more to install. Sell your truck and buy one already lifted. I'll sell you my 3" body lifted, 92 4X Xtra cab for less than you will sell your trick for. Wanna drive to Colorado?
