I have the same problem. Work is just exhausting...but when you are home, you can do what you want so your energy returns. Try to keep a regular sleep schedule and see if you can re-energize at work with short walks, a little caffeine (tea or coffee) and water (sometimes it's just dehydration).

that's so weird lol.
try excercising for ten to fifteen minutes before you go to work, and if you get a lunch break try doing some stretching on it. It will help even out your energy. I'm not sure your job, but if it's an office job that probably has a lot to do with it.

and when you get home and if you still feel a lot of energy, do something that relaxes you like reading or drawing, or something that uses your mind, I garuntee it will help

IT is life dear, after you get off you are free to do what you want, its like when you fell asleep at school and then ran home. When you are re energized, do something productive(clean or something) until you are tired again

You must hate your job and being at home releases endorphins that makes you feel full of energy....for awhile. Then you will crash and be twice as tired and wake up feeling awful the next day.

You're bored with your job. Don't beat yourself up about it, it happens to everyone. Find something productive to do with the energy. Read an investing magazine - that'll put you to sleep, or will make you richer!

Welcome to the after lunch slump. In the mid day, some countries encourage mid day naps to combat this.
SInce this is America, I would recommend limiting sugar and starches at lunch. Also, a walk at lunchtime is a good idea.
