Young love situation (REAL YOUNG LOVE) as an example, he/she has hurt you so much, because of going through phases and influence of other people (you know at that age).
Later he/she comes back, makes up for the pain, rekindle the love and is happily together now and wants forever?

I believe it can happen after about 10 years or so because that's how long it will take to get over the pain.You no the saying,time heals all wounds well it's true for the most part.But
some wounds are so deep you will never fully recover from.
