Is putting a note or paper of some kind in someone's locker illegal?

I can't imagine what law that would break unless it was a threatening note. There are laws against threats. If the note itself does not break any laws, then putting it in a locker is not against the law. If you are talking about a school locker, there may be a school rule against that but it is not a law.

I don't know the exact laws on this but I've never heard of anyone spending time in jail over a note in a locker.

well, it depends on the school you go to. some are more laid back and probably wouldn't care. but others are way more strict and you might get dt or something.. but at my school people do it all the time, my friend has even gotten a stuffed animal with a note attached to it. as long as you're not putting anything innappropriate in there you should be ok.. and, just make sure there are no teachers around.. just incase

Depending on what the note you post says. Like if you put up I want to kill you or rape or do harm in someway then the school can call the local cops and you could get in trouble.

Absolutely not!!! A public locker is just what it is.... a PUBLIC locker. As long as it wasnt threatening, you should be fine!
