HSBC is usually pretty good about not only reporting on the AU's reports, but also reporting them fairly fast.

They usually do it without being asked, though if it has been more than a couple months call them and ask them to report.

If you have been on the account more than three months and it is still not showing on your report then give them a call and politely ask them to report the account for you. Most lenders automatically report this information to the credit bureaus when they have the authorized users SSN. Good Luck

If you are an authorized user on an account and the creditor has your SS then yes, more than likely they will put it on your Report. I have many accounts that I am an authorized user with my spouse and I get credit for the accounts even though they do not have my social security number. If I wanted them off legally I could have them removed. But they are good :)

Yes , when you are an Authorized user on a Bank Credit card it will be on your Credit report , there is nothing you need to do, it will automatically be done.

No unless the credit card issuer has your social security number. AU is just a name on a card all the activity and responsibility still rest on the primary card holder.

Usually that happens automatically, but it doesn't affect you in any way. If you're an authorized user, it simply means you have access to that line, but you aren't responsible for it. So while it may show up on your bureau, it affects you neither positively nor negatively.

Not unless the card is in your name.
Authorized user only means the cardholder will allow you to charge things to their account.
It means zip about you.
