If you have a relationship just for the sake of having fun, then that may bring out problems. Relationship is all about "sharing" and being one. It's not only about being romantic. It's more than that. Apart from being romantic, the relationship must also be platonic at times. If you find it hard to fulfill these, then you can feel better for not having a relationship.

It's okay if you don't have a steady boyfriend or girlfriend (sorry, I don't know if youre a girl or a guy). Probably the biggest con of a relationship is possible jealousy issues. Like your boyfriend/girlfriend is seen hanging out with other guyfriends and girlfriends and you get upset over this. Or vice versa. And even if you're ready for a steady relationship, the other person might not be. It's okay to take it slow and start out as friends.

I could write you a book, dear. But saying that, even though some days are a bored miserable existence with the same person, I'm still really glad I love someone and sometimes he loves me. Enjoy your single life as much as you can while you can, one day you will look back fondly on these good times. Be happy you are single for now, with the knowledge that one day you will meet the right person and then there's no turning back.

Have whole place to yourself.
No waiting for the bathroom.
No smelling another's evacuations.
Eating when you want
Watching what you want on the TV.
Using the phone when you want.
Not having to listen to another's snoring.

But instead of focusing on the cons of not having why not focus on the pros of not having.

Time to do your own thing
Time to get to know yourself better
Time to catch up with all your friends
Time to take up a hobby you have been putting off.
Time to spend luxuriating
Reading, Writing etc. etc.

Nobody to fight with
You can go where you want and when you want
Nobody will get jealous if you are sitting at the bar all night flirting with a stranger
You know for sure who left a mess in the living room
You don't even have to cook if you don't feel like it

Hmm, those are actually pros...

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT:
cheating
not calling
not coming home
losing sleep waiting for him to come home
making him dinner
dealing with his family
doing his laundry
cleaning up after him
giving him money
dealing with his loser friends
calling only when he needs something
criticizing you for gaining a little weight
leaving the toilet seat up
not doing his dishes
no explaining what you spend your money on
going out and coming home when you want too
im sure that i could go on but you get point, enjoy yourself while you can!!!

- you have more time for yourself-to pamper yourself and relax more
- I think when you're not with someone for a period of time, you know yourself better and know what you want out of life and you are more focused on important things
- You dont have to worry about "should I call him or should I wait for him to call me? scenario
- You dont have to constantly worry about the person or wonder where they are, if they are thinking about you, are they attracted to someone else, are they still happy with me and this relationship?
- You dont have to share the remote to the tv and watch sports or stupid guy shows
- You dont have to clean up after them
(that applies only if you live with someone)
- You can casually flirt with people and have fun, without the drama of being stuck in a relationship with that person

You can do whatever you want.
You can have all the alone time you need.
You don't have to clean up after anyone but yourself.
You don't have to worry about them getting jealous over friends or anything else.
You don't have to explain your whereabouts.
You can spend money without explaining.
You can keep the hours you want (basically).
If they don't like your pets you don't have to hear about it anymore.
You don't have to listen to their criticism.
If their parents are mean you don't have to see them anymore.

Is that enough? Oops, those are pros too. But it's the same idea. I hope you feel better.

4th-Dating can put you in an intimate relationship long before you are ready.

5th-Dating can lead to hasty choices that lead to STDs and unwanted pregnancies.

6th-Dating can lead to spending more money then you planned....(presents-trips-things of that nature)

and these are just a few!

You bet I can. But I prefer to put a positive spin on it and point out the benefits of being on your own:
Come and go as you please; watch what you want on TV, eat what you want for dinner; go out with whomever you want, whenever you want; no jealousy; no mind games; listen to whatever music you want; no snoring next to you at night; flirt all you want when you're out in a club... feel better yet...? ;-)
