How can i lose about 5 to 10 pounds in 1 month. i have to get ready for my sister's wedding? Thanks fro answering.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Simple ways to lose weight without frustration:

1. Switch to diet sodas instead of regular. Be careful when drinking juice, not all are good for you, and barely any are good for you in excess.
2. Park extra spaces away from where you shop, this forces you to walk further to and from the store, adding more walking to your daily routine.
3. Walk up and down the stairs before going to bed, and when you wake up in the morning. This helps you out by giving you a little bit more mojo throughout the day, and helps you sleep somber at night.
4. Everyone will tell you to watch what you eat, it's true.. but try these simple steps. Stay away from high fat foods, like instead of mayo, try mustard.
5. Poultry and fish instead of steak and beef.
6. Eat vegetables and fruit, but be careful on the fruit. The sugars and calories can catch up on you.
7. Try eating 3 small meals w/ 2 snacks throughout the day, this way, you wont binge b/c dinner is soooo far away from lunch.
8. Billy Blanks Tae-Bo workout videos are tremendous! They really are fantastic, they motivate you, give you lots of energy, and watch the weight shed!
9. If you work at an office, try an under the desk peddler bicycle. Sure beats sitting there not burning calories!
10. Get rest at night, stress is an amazing way to gain weight. Try some relaxation time. Take a bath, destress!!

I did these things for a month for a family gathering I wanted to look great for... it worked, I lost 18 pounds in 1 month.

just eat or exercise 600 calories less per day, and it will vanish. try drinking diet coke instead of regular, and eat lots to fruits and vegetables, or other water-filled foods to keep you full. another thing to remember: never eat 2 hours before sleeping.

use the freezer to add some extra oomph to summer foods freeze grapes for some bite sized delights or get a popsicle mold and freeze some greek yogurt with berries
