You have an iPod? Do you have you songs from iTunes ins your iPod? If you answer I may tell you how to solve it. Just need a more specific question.

If you have an iPod, the iPod itself is a hard drive.

This is what you gonna do. Activate your iPod as a hard disk. This is how:

Conect your iPod
Go to your itunes.
Right click on your iPod
See if it is activated as a hard disk. (if it is not, activate it)

After that your should be able to see your iPod when you go to My PC:

If it is there,
go to My PC
Clik at the top of the window where say Tools
Then folder options
Then VIEW
After that, pick SHOW HIDDEN FOLDERS OR FILES

Step3
Open your iPod from your PC
Then You gonna see a folder that say "iPod Control" open it.
You gonna see one folder that says "Music"
Select all the folders, there will be many. Then right click and copy.
After that you go back to the iPod again, and inside you iPod create a new folder, and paste the other folders you copied before in there.

Step 4
select all the folders, right click, properties, and un-select "hidden" click "apply" then "OK"

That is all, you can connect it to your other computer and you will be able to take your songs out.

Any more questions or don't understand, add more details to your question.

I hope this help.

A portable hard drive is so usefull for situations like these, buy or borrow one.

Also, if you're not going to use the old computer you could get someone to put the old hard drive into your new computer as a slave drive.
