We are not so divided as the unbelieving world would have us believe. The wicked doctrine of the Nicolaitanes is what has led to most of the division amongst us, and it is high time it was exposed for what it is: hierarchichal leadership. Jesus flatly forbad his followers to lord authority and demand obeisance. He taught them to be as servants and children (in other words to be as those under authority). This struggle for supremacy is clearly chronicled in the apostolic fathers' writings and in any good source of church history. The key is to get back to what the apostles taught. For more on this:

I'm not sure what your 1rst question was but the difference really ain't important. Some people interpret scripture differently than others. Some churches are traditional and some contemporary. As long as we all believe in the word of God, and being born again were are still part of the body of Christ.

I do not recall your previous question at the moment; but as I see it currently we need to focus on the purity of what he said (versus the things that HAVE BEEN ADDED TO IT (and one 'take away' for many), currently in the USA and probably other countries too.

The fundamental belief is that we all need God to forgive us and save us from our sins. That we confess Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead.

To make Him Lord of our lives.

Yes, I did notice that. As long as we have those things in common, we're all Christians. The rest doesn't matter HALF as much.
