for breakfast i ate: oatmeal with cinnamon & raisins, & an orange

lunch: just a soft pretzel w/ cheese & a couple carrot sticks

snack: apple

and for dinner i just had some honey bunches of oat cereal w/ water & a non fat yogurt

have i eaten too much or too little? what else should/can i eat? i'm trying to lose weight.

I think you ate fne...But honey bunches of oat wih water? Is that good? Hmmm.

your breakfast looks really good!
you could have had some salad with that although soft pretzel especially with cheese is not a good choice - too much simple carbs
dinner - veggies with some lean meat or any other kind of protein would have been much better
overall i dont think you have ate enough
try eating 5-6 small meals a day to optimize your metabolism
you deffinately need more veggies

Sounds like you're eating very healthily, like you're trying to lose weight. Good job! It sounds very good, not too much or too little. Keep it up!
