*Always* searching for TRUTH - Therefore: *SCIENCE*!
Science has the Method, the Evidence, the Controls, the Tests, the Self-questioning, the Background, the Diversity, the Brains, the Inter-relatedness, the Discipline, the Peer-Reviews... and *most critically*, the Demonstrated Ability to Change WHEN IT SHOULD! ... (Changing DOGMA, OTOH, is not easy - Galileo.)
This happens *all the time* of course, and I could give many examples - a prominent one was when Einstein overthrew many of Newton's "Laws." Hence, GR, SR, curved space...

I have spent the last 14 years seeking truth. You know what I've come to understand in all my studies? Truth is a matter of perception. Nothing more, nothing less. It's all about how you see the world based on the things you have experienced. So, this begs the question, if truth is completely personal, why fear it?

Depends ... who's Truth are we talking about?
What I see as Truth you more than likely wouldn't see as a Truth (though you also might)
and what many refer to as the "Truth" I find offensive.

Yes I can. The problem is that understanding the truth is not enough. Being able to accept it is another matter.That's the hard part.
