I was just thinking about this the other day when I watched a rerun of "The Day After". It was reverse illegal immigration because all the Americans were running across the border to escape from the "Ice Age" cold weather. I wonder if, God forbid, a nuclear disaster or global warming catastrophe were to happen, would they expect to be treated with the same 'welcome' they give others?

LOL, I was watching that movie too and I almost died laughing at that part. Mexico owes America big time! I wouldn't agree that America doesn't give them a warm welcome... we let over 12 million of them just live off our backs... sue our government... try and change our laws... our language... Yeah, they owe us.

Acually Mexico has help us twice in the past. The more recent was after Pearl Harbor, alot of Mexicans came here to join our millitary during WWII. The other was Cinco de Mayo. May 5th 1862 the Mexican army defeated the French army in a one day war. That helped the USA in the fact that the French were helping the Confederate States mostly with supplies. After their defeat in Mexico, the French no longer had any strong hold on this continent. And I'm not even Latino, and I know that.

Its all about money!
If there were a natural disaster.... and Americans had to flee NORTH or SOUTH? Well... those who are fleeing would have money. Mexicans would take them with open arms!
Unfortunately, anyone who was coming by bus... or walking...
I am sure it would not be too easy for them to cross.
Wealth....
Lets say... if a wealthy Mexican applied for a visa into the United States... without a doubt, he would prosper in AMerica! A wealthy AMerican would do well in Mexico too.
Hence, that would be the ultimate immigration policy?

No. How would Mexico help? The only wealth in the country is limited to a select few. The Mexican government would never lift a finger to help Americans.

Nope, I fully expect that in spite of the fact that we have given vastly more in disaster aid than any other country on earth and have always been willing to rush in and play cop when needed that the rest of the world will pretty much spit on us if we ever need help.

I saw on the news the other night, that when Katrina happened, foreign aid was offered, but because of no programs in place to receive aid from foriegn countries....the
US could (would) not accept all that was offered.....and needed!
Which is really sad.

We are being to nice to the Mexicans and I feel if we really needed to go down there we would just take over the country. It's stricken with poverty and crime this is why they are coming to our country
